1. What information we collect about you?
Viewron collects your name, email address, profile picture, short bio, location, gender, age, IP address, device ID, location data, data provided by cookies and other similar technologies, functional data such as registration and account data, as well as additional usage data, for instance, activity information.
2. Why we collect personal information?
We collect personal information from you to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient, and a customized experience. We only collect personal information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this purpose. In general, you can use the Service without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. The Service is a public forum. You should be aware that profile information which you voluntarily transmit online in a publicly accessible forum such as this Service may be viewed and used by others without any restrictions.
There are certain optional information that you may provide us, like additional profile information, including a short bio, location, gender, age and profile picture. In case you create your Viewron account by connecting through another service, we may use public information from that connected account to help complete your Viewron profile. Profile information on your profile page is available publicly on our Service.
You should also be aware that your Profile may be indexed by search engine websites. These search engines index the Service at various times and at different frequencies and speeds which we have no control over.
We may use your contact information to send you information about our Service, respond to your requests and facilitate your use of the Service. We may use the contact information (such as your phone number or email address) to help connect you with other Viewron users, even if that information is not publicly displayed. To help us provide you the support and respond to your requests, we require you to verify your contact information.

We use personal information in the file we maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your activities on the Service, to:

4. How long do we keep your data?
We retain personal data on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant service, or as long as your account is active. Viewron destroys your personal information when it is no longer needed. We assume no obligation or guarantee to archive any information and do not warrant that any archived information will later be made available to you beyond any applicable period of retention required by law. It typically takes about 30 days to deactivate an account, but some information may remain in backup copies and logs for up to 90 days.

The personal data that we collect from you is stored inside the European Economic Area ("EEA") on ISO27001 accredited hosting services with secure password encrypted servers. Should your personal data be processed by any of our GDPR-compliant Service Providers, in order to fulfil our services to you, that are based outside of the EEA – your data and the transfer is protected under the EU-US Privacy Shield framework.
6. How can you delete or amend your data?
You can modify or remove any of the information in your Profile at any time by logging into your account and making the desired changes. If you change or delete any of your personal information, we will remove the old or deleted information from public view. You can always send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and request that your data be deleted. Please note, however, that by deleting your personal data your account will be affected.
7. Can you opt-out?
Yes, you can. You can also decide what marketing communications you receive and by what methods. However certain types of data that we collect are a necessity in order for you to use our service and access your account, as a result you will not be able to opt out from this type of data collection.

For instance, your profile information and public Content are immediately delivered to a wide range of users and other services that access Viewron. We also automatically track certain information about you, based upon your behaviour on our Site. We use this information to do internal research on our Users' demographics, interests, and behaviour to better understand, protect and serve you and our community.

In addition to profile information, you may also tell us your exact location if you choose to enable your computer or mobile device to send us location information. We may use and store information about your location to provide features of our Service, such as tagging a video with a location, and to improve and customize the Service, for example, with Content that has been tagged near your location.

These logs do not record personally identifiable information, and are only used to track visits to our site and improve its content and layout.
